Health and safety
A quad or dirt bike is a powerful machine you control yourself on soft sand and steep slopes, and you can fall off. The 4x4 pickup adds dune bashing. Skip it if you're pregnant, have back or neck problems, have had recent surgery or get motion sick, and tell us about other health worries before you book. Wear closed shoes. Visit Dubai, the city's tourism site, says driving in sand can be hazardous without experience and the right vehicle.
Cancellation and changes
Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund, back on your card in 5 to 7 working days. After that, or if you don't show up, there's no refund. If the weather turns bad, we offer you a new date.
How much does quad biking cost in Dubai?
You pay per quad or bike, not per person. The machine, the riding area and 30 or 60 minutes set the price. A 2-seat ATV costs more than a 1-seat one, but its passenger pays nothing extra. Shared 4x4 pickup is free and a private 4x4 costs extra. The cards above show every price.
What time can we ride?
Any time from 6 AM to 6 PM. Pick your start time when you book, and we confirm your pickup time on WhatsApp. A quad ride added to a safari happens during that safari instead, and your return time stays the same.
Can two people share one quad?
Only on a 2-seat ATV, which takes the rider and one passenger. Every other machine, the dirt bike included, carries one person. The booking steps won't let you continue until everyone has a seat.
What's the difference between the riding circle and the open desert?
The controlled riding area is a circle, ridden on 1- or 2-seat ATVs, and it costs the least. The open desert is outside it on red dunes, with 1- or 2-seat ATVs too, plus the Polaris Sportsman 570, the Yamaha Raptor 700 and the dirt bike. New to quads? Start in the circle. The Yamaha Raptor 700 has the biggest engine here.
Are the 30 or 60 minutes all spent riding?
Yes. Pickup, the drive to Lahbab, the briefing and the trip back come on top. We confirm your pickup time on WhatsApp.
Where do you ride?
This tour rides on the Lahbab red dunes, off the Dubai-Hatta Road (E44), about 50 minutes from central Dubai, from the same base as the dune buggy tour. Your confirmation names the base. A shared or private 4x4 can pick you up anywhere in Dubai or Sharjah and bring you back, or you can drive there yourself. A quad ride added to a safari happens in that safari's own desert.
Is this quad bike rental or a guided ride?
Guided. The quad or dirt bike is yours for the time you book, and a guide leads every ride. You can't take one into the desert without a guide.

The dune buggy seats up to four. The evening safari adds dinner and shows, and the morning safari is a private 4x4 trip. You can add a quad ride to the evening or morning safari when you book; it then happens in that safari's own desert.
