Overview

How the night runs

Until dinner this is the evening safari: dunes, sunset, camel ride, dinner and the shows. Then the evening guests go back to Dubai. You do not. The camp goes quiet, you sleep in a Standard tent or the more private Deluxe stay, wake for sunrise, have breakfast and are back in Dubai the next morning.

AED 499 per guest. You see the full AED total for your date, pickup and group before you pay.

Know before you go on an overnight desert safari

What to pack and what to expect after dark.

Pickup and return

Pickup is in the afternoon from your central Dubai hotel or home, and drop-off the next morning after breakfast. Addresses further out may carry a surcharge, so ask us first.

Clothing and weather

Light clothes for the afternoon, closed shoes for the sand, a warm layer and sleepwear for the night. It gets cold after dark, more so from November to March. Pack toiletries, any medication and a power bank in one small bag, and leave valuables at the hotel.

Food, drinks and requests

Dinner at the camp and breakfast the next morning are included. Halal, vegetarian, allergies or anything else: tell us before you pay and we confirm the menu for your date.

Children and capacity

Ages 3 and up pay the listed price. Under-3s ride free but still take one of the six 4×4 seats. Give us every guest's age when you book so we can check the sleeping setup works for your group.

Suitability and safety

Dune bashing is bumpy on purpose, and the driver can take a gentler line if you ask. If you are pregnant, have back or heart problems, or get carsick, tell us before booking. Mention mobility needs too.

Cancellation and changes

Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund. If a stricter term applies to your option or date, you see it before you pay.

Overnight safari questions

Answers for this tour. Your confirmation has the final details for your date.

Where do you sleep on an overnight desert safari?

At the camp, after the evening guests have gone home. Standard is a camp tent. Deluxe is a more private setup with more comfort. Your confirmation lists the occupancy, bedding and bathroom for the option and date you book, and says whether towels are supplied, so you know what to pack.

How much does the overnight desert safari cost?

AED 499 per guest for Standard and AED 749 per guest for Deluxe, in a shared 4×4. A private 4×4 is priced per vehicle and seats up to six. A longer camel ride and other extras are priced separately and added at checkout.

What is the difference between Standard and Deluxe overnight?

The night, not the day. Both get the same dune bashing, dinner, sunrise and breakfast. Standard is a camp tent. Deluxe is more private and more comfortable, and where that includes air conditioning, an attached bathroom or upgraded bedding, it is written into your booking. If you want something closer to glamping, Deluxe is the one.

Are there toilets and showers at the camp?

Your confirmation lists the toilet and shower setup for your option and date, shared or attached. Ask us first if it matters to you.

How cold does the desert get at night?

Colder than the day, every month of the year. From November to March you want a proper warm layer and long sleepwear. Pack for a cool night whichever option you book.

What time do you get back to Dubai the next morning?

After breakfast at the camp, about 18 hours after pickup. The exact drop-off window is on your confirmation and depends on your address and traffic. Keep the morning free rather than booking a flight or checkout you cannot move.

What should I wear and pack for an overnight desert safari?

Light clothes and closed shoes for the afternoon, a warm layer and sleepwear for the night. One small bag with toiletries, any medication, a phone charger and a power bank, since charging is not promised. Leave valuables at the hotel.

Can children come on the overnight safari?

Yes. Ages 3 and up pay the listed price; under-3s ride free but still take a seat. Tell us every age when you book so we can check the sleeping setup works for your group.
