Booking and pickup

04 questions

How do I book a date?

Open the tour, choose a date and enter everyone travelling, including infants. The morning safari, dinner in the desert, private safari and overnight trip run in private 4x4s only, with up to six guests in a car. The evening and Lahbab safaris and VIP dinner also sell shared seats. You see any extras and the total in AED before you pay.

How do safari prices work?

Each safari shows the lowest price to book it, marked From. Your total for your group, your date and any extras shows before you pay. Every price is on our safari price list.

Is hotel pickup included?

Yes. We pick you up free from any hotel or home in Dubai or Sharjah and bring you back afterwards. On the quad bike and dune buggy tours, the shared 4x4 transfer is free if you choose it when you book, or you can drive to the riding base yourself. Your confirmation shows the pickup time.

Which currency will I be charged in?

UAE dirhams (AED). Prices shown in another currency are estimates, and you pay the AED total on your booking summary.

Clothing and weather

02 questions

What should I wear?

Light clothes and closed shoes that can take sand. Add sun protection by day and a warm layer for evenings from November to March. On a quad or buggy, leave scarves and loose jewellery behind.

What happens if the weather turns bad?

We offer you a new date. If your trip is still 48 hours or more away, you can cancel for a full refund instead. On the day, the driver may also shorten or change an activity to keep everyone safe.

Safety and families

03 questions

What is dune bashing?

Dune bashing is a 4x4 drive up, down and across sand dunes. The car slides and tilts steeply on the slopes, so it's a hard, bumpy ride by design. The driver does all the driving, and everyone wears a seatbelt. Most of our safaris include it.

Who should skip dune bashing?

Skip it if you're pregnant, have back or neck problems, have had recent surgery or get motion sick. The same goes for driving a quad or buggy. If you're bringing a baby or toddler, or have another health worry, tell us before you book, and we'll check whether a gentler drive, sitting it out or another safari suits you. VIP dinner and dinner in the desert have no dune bashing.

What ages can come on a desert safari?

Children of any age can join our 4x4 safaris and dinners. Babies under 3 go free but take one of the six seats, and everyone 3 and over pays the guest price. Child seats are free: ask for one on WhatsApp before your trip.

Food and changes

03 questions

Which tours include dinner?

Five do: dinner in the desert, VIP dinner, and the evening, private and overnight safaris. Each has dinner and live shows at a desert camp, and VIP dinner serves an upgraded menu at your table. The overnight trip adds breakfast at the retreat. The morning and Lahbab safaris have drinking water but no meal, and the quad and buggy tours don't include food.

Is the food at the camps halal?

Yes, all of it. If anyone is vegetarian or has an allergy, message us on WhatsApp when you book, and we'll confirm what the camp can serve on your date.

Can a booking be cancelled?

Yes. A day trip cancelled at least 24 hours before it starts gets a full refund. The overnight trip needs 14 days' notice, because after that the retreat charges for the room in full. After those deadlines, or if you don't show up, there's no refund. Refunds reach your card in 5 to 7 working days. To cancel, use your booking page or message us with your booking reference.
