What comes with the private desert safari?
The price covers everyone in the car, from pickup to drop-off. Quad, dirt bike and buggy rides, a longer camel ride and shisha cost extra, and you choose them when you book. The camp has a bar, but you can't bring your own alcohol. All food at the camp is halal. For vegetarians or allergies, message us on WhatsApp before you book.

Cancellation and changes
Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund, back on your card in 5 to 7 working days. After that, or if you don't show up, there's no refund. If the weather turns bad, we offer you a new date.
What does private mean on this desert safari?
The 4×4 and driver are your group's for the whole trip; nobody else rides with you. A car seats six, and babies need a seat too, so seven or more of you need a second car. Other guests share the camp.
How is this different from a private 4×4 on the evening safari?
The camp. Both give your group its own 4×4 on the same Lahbab dunes for the same price. The evening safari's private 4×4 ends at the standard camp. This safari ends at the premium camp, with better seating, a smaller crowd and a better dinner. Only VIP dinner has table service.
When does the 4×4 collect us, and where are the dunes?
Around 3 PM, from your hotel or home in Dubai or Sharjah; your confirmation has the exact time. The dunes are at Lahbab, about 50 minutes away, and the whole trip takes about six hours.
Can we ask for gentler dune bashing?
Yes. Tell the driver at pickup and the drive stays gentle, but even a gentle run is bumpy and the 4×4 tilts on the slopes. Everyone wears a seatbelt. Skip the dune bashing if you're pregnant, have back or neck problems, have had recent surgery or get motion sick. If you're bringing a baby or toddler, or have any other health worry, tell us before you book, and we'll check whether a gentler route, skipping the dunes or VIP dinner suits you.
Does a quad or buggy ride make the trip longer?
No. Quad, dirt bike and buggy rides last 30 or 60 minutes and happen at Lahbab, in a riding circle or the open desert, and your return time stays the same. Add one when you book.
Is a private desert safari worth it for a family?
Usually, yes, especially with young children. Nobody else is in the car, and you set the pace.
Can you fit a child seat in the private 4×4?
Yes. Child seats are free; ask us on WhatsApp before your trip. Include the child's age and size so we bring the right one.
