Seats, kids and timings for your car.

Pickup and return

Pickup for your group is in the afternoon from your hotel or home in central Dubai, and drop-off after the shows. Addresses further out may carry a surcharge, so ask us first.

Clothing and weather

Light clothes and shoes that can handle sand. Sunscreen and sunglasses. From November to March pack a layer; the desert gets cool after dark.

Food, drinks and requests

The camp BBQ has vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, with water and soft drinks. Tell us about halal, allergies or anything else when you book and we confirm the menu for your date.

Children and seats

The vehicle costs AED 450, plus AED 100 for each guest aged 3 and up. Infants under 3 have free camp admission but still use a seat. Count everyone when you book.

Suitability and safety

Dune bashing is bumpy on purpose, but in your own car it is as gentle as you ask. If anyone is pregnant, has back, neck or heart problems, or gets carsick, tell us when you book and remind the driver at pickup.

Private safari questions

Answers for this tour. Your confirmation has the final details for your date.

What does private mean on this desert safari?

The 4×4 and driver are yours for the whole evening. Nobody else rides with you, and pickup and drop-off are for your group only. Dinner and shows take place at a premium camp. Your vehicle is private; exclusive use of the whole camp is not included.

How much does a private desert safari in Dubai cost?

AED 450 per private 4×4 plus AED 100 per guest aged 3 and up for the premium camp and dinner. Six guests pay AED 1,050: one car at AED 450 plus AED 600 for the guests. Ten guests need two cars and pay AED 1,900. Add-ons are priced separately.

How many people fit in one private 4×4?

Six guests, plus the driver. Infants take a seat too, so two adults, two children and a baby use five of the six seats. Seven or more guests means a second 4×4.

Is a private desert safari worth it for a family?

It suits families who want their own car, time for photos and a premium camp dinner. You pay one vehicle charge for up to six passengers, plus AED 100 for each guest aged 3 and up. Your driver can adapt the dune drive to your group.

Can we ask for gentler dune bashing?

Yes. Tell your driver at pickup and the drive stays mild the whole way. With your own car you are not tied to what another group wants. If anyone is pregnant or has back, neck or heart problems, tell us when you book and we will say what suits them.

Can you fit a child seat in the private 4×4?

Sometimes. Ask when you book with the child's age and size, and we confirm whether one is available for your date. If we cannot fit one, we say so straight away.

What if our group is more than six people?

Enter everyone at checkout and it adds a second 4×4 once you pass six guests. Every car is priced the same. For several cars or a company outing, the group booking page lets you seat everyone car by car and pay in one go.

What should I wear for a private desert safari?

Light clothes, closed shoes that cope with sand, sunscreen and sunglasses. From November to March bring a layer, because the desert cools fast after sunset. Jackets and anything you do not need on the dunes can stay in your 4×4.
