Cancellation and changes
Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund, back on your card in 5 to 7 working days. After that, or if you don't show up, there's no refund. If the weather turns bad, we offer you a new date.
Can I do a desert safari without dune bashing?
Yes, that's this trip: the dinner-only version of a desert safari, with the camel ride, photos, dinner and shows but no dune bashing or sandboarding. For the dunes, book the evening safari, with a shared seat or your own 4×4, or the private safari.
Is it a restaurant, or a private table in the dunes?
Neither. You eat at your table in a shared desert camp, with other guests around you. Private tables and seating areas can't be booked at the moment. VIP dinner goes to a better camp and seats you in its VIP area, with table service and an upgraded menu.
Who is dinner in the desert best for?
Anyone who wants the camp evening but should skip dune bashing, such as people who are pregnant or have back or neck trouble. It also suits families with babies or toddlers, and older guests. Babies under 3 go free but take one of the six seats. Child seats are free; ask us on WhatsApp before your trip. Nobody has to ride the camel. If the drive or walking on sand could be hard for anyone, tell us before you book and we'll say what works at the camp.
What food and drinks come with dinner?
A camp BBQ, with water and soft drinks. All food at the camp is halal. There's no printed menu, because the dishes are set for your date. For vegetarians or allergies, message us on WhatsApp before you book and we'll confirm what the kitchen can serve. Alcohol isn't in the price, and you can't bring your own.
Can we mark a birthday, anniversary or proposal?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with the occasion before your date and we'll let the camp know. It's still your table in a shared camp, and decorations or a private photographer can't be added to the booking. For a proposal, ask us first what the camp allows.
Can we add shisha or a longer camel ride?
Yes, add either when you book. Shisha is for guests aged 18 and over, served in the camp's licensed smoking area, and staff may ask for ID. The longer camel ride adds 30 minutes for anyone aged 3 and up.
