Cancellation and changes

Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund, back on your card in 5 to 7 working days. After that, or if you don't show up, there's no refund. If the weather turns bad, we offer you a new date.

What time does the evening desert safari start?

Pickup is around 3 PM, and your confirmation gives the window for your address. It's about 50 minutes from central Dubai to the Lahbab red dunes, and you're back around 9:30 PM. From November to March, pack a layer for the evening at camp.

Who else is in the 4×4 with us?

With shared seats you ride with other guests, up to six to a 4×4. A private 4×4 carries only your group, from AED 600 for one guest. Both go to the standard camp. The private safari costs the same as a private 4×4 here but ends at a premium camp.

Can I add quad biking to the evening safari?

Yes, when you book. Quad, dirt bike and buggy rides last 30 or 60 minutes and happen on the Lahbab dunes during your evening, in a riding circle or the open desert. You're still back around 9:30 PM.

Is the evening safari a night safari?

It ends after dark. Dinner and the shows run at night, and you're back in Dubai around 9:30 PM. To stay the night, book the overnight trip instead: you sleep at a resort in Sharjah, not at a camp, and have breakfast there the next morning.

Can the BBQ dinner suit halal, vegetarian or allergy needs?

Dinner has vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. All food at the camp is halal. For allergies or anything else, message us on WhatsApp before you book and we'll confirm the menu for your date.

Can children join, and who should avoid dune bashing?

Yes. Children aged 3 and up pay the guest price; under-3s go free but take a seat. Dune bashing throws you around, so skip it if you're pregnant, have back or neck problems, have had recent surgery or get motion sick. If you're bringing a baby or toddler, or have any other health worry, tell us before you book, and we'll check whether a gentler route, skipping the dune bashing or another safari suits you.

Is alcohol sold at the camp?

Yes, at the camp bar, and you pay for it there. You can't bring your own. The safari price covers water and soft drinks only.
