What makes this a VIP desert safari?

Four things you don't get on dinner in the desert. You sit in the camp's VIP area, apart from the shared seating. Food and drinks are brought to your table. The menu is upgraded, and the camp is a better one. The private safari has a premium camp too, but not the other three.

Cancellation and changes

Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and you get a full refund, back on your card in 5 to 7 working days. After that, or if you don't show up, there's no refund. If the weather turns bad, we offer you a new date.

Is there dune bashing on the VIP desert safari?

No, and no sandboarding either. Your driver takes you straight to the camp and back. If you want the dunes, book the evening safari or the private safari. The private safari gives your group its own 4×4, with dune bashing, sandboarding and falcon photos before dinner at a premium camp. You give up the VIP seating, table service and upgraded menu.

What's the difference between VIP and dinner in the desert?

Both skip the dunes and include dinner, the live shows, a camel ride and photos. VIP adds seats in the VIP area, table service, an upgraded menu and a better camp. VIP also sells shared seats, while dinner in the desert runs in private 4×4s only.

What's on the VIP menu?

It's an upgraded menu, a step up from what we serve on dinner in the desert and the private safari. We confirm the dishes for your date. All food at the camp is halal. If anyone is vegetarian or has an allergy, message us on WhatsApp before you book.

Can we have alcohol with dinner?

Yes. Alcohol isn't in the price, but the camp has a bar, so you can buy a drink there with dinner. You can't bring your own.

Is VIP a good fit for babies, grandparents or anyone pregnant?

There's no dune bashing, so you skip the roughest part of a desert safari. Babies under 3 go free but need a seat, so count them when you book. If anyone is pregnant, has back or neck trouble, or finds walking on sand hard, tell us before you book, and we'll check that the seating and the camel ride suit them.

Can we order shisha at the VIP dinner?

Yes, as an extra you add when you book. It's for guests aged 18 and over and is served in the camp's licensed smoking area. Staff may ask for ID.

Prefer the dunes, or a simpler dinner?

The private safari adds the dunes before dinner at a premium camp, and the evening safari adds them before dinner at the standard camp. Dinner in the desert is the simpler camp dinner, in a private 4×4.
